The Apex of waterproof LED headlamps, boasting up to 130 lumens of light and 72 to 150 hours of burn time.
With its 4 light levels, safety flash mode, and impact-resistant design, the Princeton Tec Apex Headlamp is ideal for any hardcore adventure. The Apex combines a regulated Maxbright 3-watt LED with 4 regulated Ultrabright LEDs, for constant brightness on all modes. Waterproof design allows the Apex to be submersed to 3.2 feet.
Dual switch system allows you to independently control the intense, long-range lighting from the Maxbright LED, and the wide-angle, close-range lighting from the 4 Ultrabright LEDs. Proprietary heatsink technology allows the LEDs to burn brighter and longer. The Apex is compatible with alkaline, lithium, and rechargeable batteries.
Tri-color battery power meter shows: Green when more than 40% of total battery capacity exists, Yellow when less than 40% of total battery capacity exists, Red when 20 minutes of run time remains. In addition to displaying red on the battery power meter, when there are approximately 20 minutes of run time remaining, the Apex will blink three times in rapid succession.
An adjusting pivoting head shines light where you need it, and the durable lightweight strap provides plenty of adjustment for the perfect fit. Buckle doubles as tool to open the battery pack. Recognizing that different amounts of light are needed for different conditions and situations, the Apex is equipped with 4 brightness levels and a blinking emergency/signal mode. 4 AA Batteries are included.
