The Petzl Myo Headlamps are the next generation of hands-free lighting. The new Petzl Myobelt SB5 combines a high intensity Xenon bulb with 5 white LED bulbs and a 4 AA battery pack for longer burn times.
The Myobelt SB5 has a dual light source that you can change with a simple rotation of the bezel, giving you the ability to see far when you need to and conserve batteries when you only need proximity lighting.
By removing the battery pack from the head unit the Myobelt SB5 greatly reduces the weight on your head to only 3.7 ounces, therefore increasing comfort levels.
The 5 LEDs are regulated by an electronic system and have three lighting levels: optimum level, ideal for walking and general use; maximum level, ideal for climbing or moving quickly on technical terrain; economy level, ideal for reading maps. When the batteries are almost completely discharged, the system switches to reserve power mode, providing proximity lighting and greatly extending burn time.
The Xenon beam is adjustable and allows you to vary the focus for long distance vision. Comes with an spare Xenon bulb.
The Myobelt SB5 is ideal for mountaineering, running, climbing, mountain biking, etc.
